The Sony Xperia 1 VI was launched in May 2024 and came with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC and triple rear cameras. Sony is preparing to launch the Xperia 1 VII as the successor to last year’s Xperia 1 VI. As per the Taiwan National Communications Commission (NCC) website, the phone may come with design and colour options of the purported Sony Xperia 1 VII. The renders may have three cameras in the back and a headphone jack. It will run on a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

Japanese website Sumaho Digest has also shared live images of the purported Sony Xperia 1 VII, which have been sourced from the Taiwanese certification site NCC and show the phone in black, navy green, and purple colour options. Sony Xperia 1 VI comes in Black, Platinum Silver, and Khaki Green colour options for comparison.
